Filmmaker and technologist, Jacob Rosenberg dives into the challenges, pitfalls and details of making independent movies with HDSLR cameras. From creative workflows on the upcoming Navy SEALs film "Act of Valor" to making his documentary on the skateboarder Danny Way Waiting for Lightning, Jacob will shed light on his early days making the Plan B skateboard videos and his recent days of navigating the digital landscape.

In this session Rosenberg will break down fundamentals of digital technology and provide helpful tips and techniques for getting from production through post with digital files coming off of new cameras.

Jacob Rosenberg is a filmmaker, partner and CTO at Bandito Brothers, a full service media company comprised of filmmakers, athletes and technologists. Rosenberg grew up and got his start in the heart of Silicon Valley making skateboard videos and becoming a published author and consultant for digital workflows with Adobe Systems. His past projects include work and consultation on Dust to Glory, Superman Returns, Avatar, Shine a Light, S.O.P. and the upcoming Act of Valor.
